SCORM

SCORM, the Sharable Content Object Reference Model, is a packaging standard. Content is zipped up with a manifest, uploaded into an LMS, and played from there while the LMS tracks completion and a score.

It solves a different problem from LTI®. SCORM moves content into an LMS; LTI® launches a user out to a live application that you host and continue to control.

If your product is a hosted application rather than a package of files, LTI® is the fit. If it is fixed courseware, SCORM may be.
