Deep Linking

Deep Linking is the LTI® Advantage service for content selection. Instead of a link that always opens the same place, the platform launches the tool in a selection mode, the teacher picks something, and the tool returns a description of it.

The platform then stores that selection as a resource link, so later launches open the chosen content directly.

It is what makes a tool feel native inside a course rather than a single undifferentiated link. See the deep linking flow.
