LTI® Advantage is the name 1EdTech gives to LTI® 1.3 together with three service extensions:

Names and Role Provisioning Services, for reading the roster of a course.
Assignment and Grade Services, for creating grade columns and posting scores.
Deep Linking, for letting a teacher choose specific content from the tool.

A platform can support LTI® 1.3 without offering all three, and can grant them per course, so a tool should treat each service as something to check for rather than assume.
